Is the preview free?
There’s no charge to download this preview. AI editing requires your own Claude, Kimi, or OpenAI API key with available credit. Your provider bills API usage separately; a chat subscription alone may not include API credit.
Does my footage leave my Mac?
Media processing, transcription, and export run on your Mac. Original video and audio stay there. Your prompts and relevant project context are sent to the AI provider you choose. That context can include transcripts and derived inspection images. AI editing needs an internet connection.
Which Macs can run it?
This preview is for Apple silicon Macs (M-series) running macOS 12 or later. Intel Mac, Windows, and Linux installers aren’t available in this release.
How ready is the app?
It’s an early preview for technical testers. The app isn’t signed or notarized by Apple yet, so macOS may block it from opening. Use copies of important projects and read the release notes before installing. Updates are manual for now.
